A group show of nine artists working as near as Houston and as far away as Poland and Paraguay. The common thread uniting this disparate group is their subject matter, the objects that form the familiar material environment of homes throughout the industrialized world. Whether categorized as Post Pop or Post Modern, the artist’s works, in either two or three-dimensional form, offer the viewer a fresh perspective on objects often regarded as too common to be of interest.
